Hedi Slimane’s Celine Spring/Summer 2025 collection, entitled “Un Été Français“, evokes a nostalgic yet modern vision of French femininity. Presented through a captivating film set at the Château de Compiègne, the collection is inspired by the late French icons Juliette Gréco and Françoise Hardy, as well as Slimane‘s own youthful memories of summers on the Côte d’Azur. The film shows models gracefully navigating the chateau’s majestic corridors and gardens, dressed in Slimane’s signature blend of refined tailoring and youthful energy.
Celine’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection features a compelling array of pieces, including pleated skirts, tailored suits and ruffled blouses, all rendered in a sophisticated palette of black, white and shimmering metallics. Accessories such as silk scarves, kitten heel slingbacks and long gold necklaces complete the look and add a touch of timeless elegance.
The collection also introduces a new fragrance, Un Été Français, with notes of bergamot, jasmine and vanilla, capturing the essence of Slimane’s favorite summer memories. From sparkling tweed skirt suits and sleek tuxedos to inventive little black dresses and ruffled blouses, the collection exudes a polished and highly desirable aesthetic.
Slimane’s meticulous attention to detail is evident in every piece, reflecting his deep understanding of the Celine woman’s desire for both elegance and modernity. The collection marks a significant moment for Celine, as it is the first time in years that Slimane has presented a collection during Paris Fashion Week.
