Instead of a show, Alexandre Vauthier presented his Spring/Summer 2022 collection, through a lookbook featuring the stunning model Akon Changkou and captured by the fashion photographer Karim Sadli.

Fusing minimalism with glamour, the Vauthier’s collection spelled out his vision of a woman whose personal power does not depend on a hem length and who makes no apologies for her choices.
Among the standout pieces : an oversized coat covered in hand-dyed ostrich feathers embroidered by Lemarié and smattered with crystals (its price estimated is probably in the solid five-figures), roaring ’20s dresses in crystals that changed colors depending on how the light hit them, chunky knitwear in silk-viscose ribbons, strapless party dress in black sequins trimmed with ostrich feathers and a handful of fringed numbers anchored by macramé.
