| Chloé Spring 2027 was designed by Creative director Chemena Kamali and presented in Paris on October 1st, 2026. The collection was shown at L’Observatoire de Paris during Paris Fashion Week. Kamali is in her third year leading the French fashion house. The clothes combine nineteenth century threadwork references with organza cotton lace tailoring and transparent vinyl outerwear. |
For Chloé Spring 2027, Chemena Kamali turned inward. Rather than searching for a completely new identity, the designer examined the details she already associates most strongly with the house: lingerie dressing, decorative handwork, soft volume, practical outerwear and a particular strain of relaxed femininity.

That approach gives the collection a clear connection to Chloé’s past without making it look like an archive exercise. Nineteenth century threadwork informed embroidery across fabrics that ranged from very light organza to firm cotton. Broderie anglaise appeared on long dresses with scalloped edges and enlarged sleeves, while lace, ruffles and floral appliqué added surface detail without overwhelming the clothes.
The most distinctive looks came from the contrast between delicacy and structure. Corseted bodices were paired with fuller skirts. Sheer blouses exposed sections of skin while maintaining generous proportions through the sleeves. Elsewhere, fringed separates and embellished gowns introduced heavier decoration in ivory, blush and muted mauve.

Kamali also avoided presenting romance as something fragile. Utility pieces repeatedly interrupted the softer garments. Khaki coats, safari jackets and glossy hooded rainwear appeared beside transparent vinyl layers in smoky or saturated shades. Wide brimmed weather hats extended that idea, giving the outerwear a functional quality that felt deliberately removed from conventional evening dressing.
Tailoring provided another useful counterpoint. Lean trousers appeared beneath cropped lace tops, while ivory and black suits were cut close enough to feel precise without becoming severe. Some were worn with lingerie visible underneath, keeping the collection connected to the house’s long interest in clothes that reveal rather than completely conceal the body.

There were also direct references to Chloé history. Fitted suiting recalled the house’s 1972 Noel design and the polished ease associated with Bianca Jagger. Retro floral embroidery and scalloped collars brought back familiar bohemian elements, though Kamali placed them beside sharper pieces to prevent the collection from becoming overly nostalgic.
Accessories followed the same balance of decoration and restraint. Large jeweled earrings were worn on a single ear, creating an asymmetrical detail without requiring additional styling. The idea has also appeared elsewhere during the season, suggesting that one sided statement jewelry may gain wider visibility.

Apple Martin, the daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, drew attention with her runway appearance in a white broderie anglaise maxi dress. Her presence introduced a younger face to the collection while remaining consistent with Chloé’s longstanding preference for delicate details and romantic femininity.
What ultimately defines Chloé Spring 2027 is not reinvention but editing. Kamali has taken familiar house codes and made them more suitable for contemporary city life, where a sheer dress, a tailored suit and a raincoat can belong to the same wardrobe without contradiction.
