Valentino Garavani and Vans reunite for a second collaboration that redefines the iconic Slip-On. Under Alessandro Michele’s creative vision, the Cruise 2026 (Resort 2026) collection blends skate heritage, bold patterns and luxury craftsmanship into a sneaker designed for a new generation of fashion insiders.
Michele’s creative direction transforms the 1977 skate staple with Valentino’s signature design elements. The collection features multiple patterns, including black-and-red and black-and-pink VLogo checkerboards, oversized dots, a tropical leaves print, and the returning le chat de la maison motif. A new Cherryfic pattern joins the lineup for this second chapter.

Special co-branded insoles distinguish each pair, all of which maintain the recognizable low-profile silhouette of the Slip-On. Even the packaging receives a luxurious makeover, reinterpreting Vans’ traditional checkerboard pattern with Valentino’s VLogo Signature.
The Valentino Garavani and Vans collaboration honors the heritage of the Slip-On as a symbol of individuality and a rebellious spirit, elevating it with high-fashion details. Since its introduction nearly five decades ago, this silhouette has remained relevant across generations and subcultures.
Unlike many fashion industry partnerships that fade after the initial hype, this second chapter demonstrates the genuine mutual respect between the heritage footwear brand and the Italian luxury house. The collection maintains Vans’ accessibility while introducing Valentino’s craftsmanship to new audiences.

Both brands have confirmed that they are developing additional collaborative projects for future seasons. This ongoing relationship suggests a strategic partnership rather than a one-time marketing exercise.
The collection is now available at Valentino boutiques worldwide and on valentino.com. Sneaker enthusiasts can also find the collaboration on vans.com and at the Paris Vans flagship location. Pricing remains consistent with that of other luxury collaborative footwear in today’s market.
