BAPE approached Footshop to co-create this limited-edition capsule centered on motorsport luxury. The collection includes a beige Moto jacket adorned with logos inspired by racing sponsors and the iconic BAPE STA sneakers, which are presented exclusively in white, beige, and brown colorways.

Additional pieces include two T-shirt variations, one with a Scribble Ape print and another with an embroidered logo, available in black and white. A gray zip-up hoodie and a black Scribble Ape cap complete the lineup. The collection is defined by premium materials: the BAPE STA sneakers are made of 100% cowhide leather, and the Moto jacket is made of a 93% polyester and 7% elastane blend. The t-shirts and hoodie are made from 100% cotton.

The capsule draws inspiration from Japanese and European high-end car tuning cultures, particularly luxury vehicle customization. Bold white lines, a signature element of Footshop’s visual identity, run throughout the pieces and represent disruption and audacity. Specifically, the Moto jacket references racing team aesthetics with its sponsor-style branding.

Founded by Nigo in Tokyo’s Harajuku district in 1993, BAPE revolutionized streetwear by fusing hip-hop culture with Japanese design sensibilities. Established in 2012 by Peter Hajduček, Footshop has grown into one of Europe’s leading premium sneaker and apparel distributors, generating €61 million in revenue in 2024.

The main campaign film introduces the concept of a luxury drive-thru Footshop where the collection is distributed. Professional athlete Richard Zelinka stars as the “Hero Driver,” arriving in the branded Lamborghini. Czech celebrity chef Zdeněk Pohlreich appears as the “Dispatcher,” directing his team in a fast-food setting. Model Soňa Machyňáková represents the female audience and is featured prominently in key campaign visuals.

Recently, automotive-inspired fashion collaborations have surged, with brands like Kith partnering with BMW and Aimé Leon Dore collaborating with Porsche. This trend reflects the growing consumer interest in merging luxury car culture with streetwear.
