Margot Robbie, the Australian actress and producer, has been unveiled as the new face of Chanel N°5, the iconic fragrance that has captivated women for over a century. This exciting announcement from Chanel marks a new chapter for both the brand and Robbie, who has been a Chanel ambassador since 2018.

The upcoming campaign, set to launch in October, will showcase Robbie’s undeniable charm and elegance, perfectly embodying the timeless allure of Chanel N°5.

There’s such an impressive lineage of women who’ve been associated with the fragrance over the years. I am very honored to be joining that long list of incredible talents,” Robbie said in a statement.

Chanel N°5, first introduced in 1921 and created by Ernest Beaux at the request of Gabrielle Chanel, has long been a symbol of sophistication and femininity. Its complex blend of rose, jasmine, citrus and vanilla notes, enhanced by aldehydes, has made it a beloved fragrance for generations of women around the world.

The fashion house praised Robbie’s appointment, citing her powerful presence both on and off screen. “Margot Robbie is a woman who has decided to create the conditions for her own accomplishments, always with the desire to tell stories carried by strong female figures in mind,” Chanel explained. “Her career as an actress and producer is impressive, her aura is irresistible, her charisma, both powerful and serene, resonates in every way with the unique character of the iconic N°5.”

Robbie follows in the footsteps of previous Chanel N°5 ambassadors, including Marion Cotillard, Nicole Kidman and the legendary Marilyn Monroe.

The new campaign, titled “See You at 5,” will also feature actor Jacob Elordi alongside Robbie and will be released in October.
