Burch stirred a wave of nostalgia with the resurrection of her iconic Reva ballet flat, a design that catapulted her brand to stardom in 2006. The updated Reva, reimagined with a wider toe and fresh cutout logo hardware, also comes as a mule, offering a modern twist to the classic silhouette.
This season, Burch explores a captivating interplay between power and grace, precision and freedom. The collection subtly nods to athleticism, a theme increasingly prevalent in contemporary fashion. Sleek bathing suits paired with drawstring karate pants, jersey dresses with contrasting shoulder panels reminiscent of football jerseys, and form-fitting wool gauze shirts with vertical stripes all speak to this sporty sensibility.
However, Burch’s signature sophistication remains evident throughout the collection. The meticulously crafted skirts with bendable wire waistbands, designed to accentuate rather than constrict, showcase her innovative approach to structure and silhouette. Paired with narrow, flecked wool pants and the new peep-toe twisted pumps, these skirts exude an effortless elegance, equally suited for the office or an evening out.
The Spring/Summer 2025 collection also sees the debut of the Pierced bag, a minimalist yet striking design that echoes the success of Burch’s sought-after Pierced mules. This sleek, oval-shaped bag, crafted from unlined leather, embodies modern practicality without sacrificing style. A detachable oversized gold ring adds a touch of understated luxury, further demonstrating Burch’s keen eye for detail.
Continuing her exploration of whimsy, Burch introduces a custom black-and-white toile featuring playful motifs of Martians and witches. This playful pattern appears on lightweight gouache metal earrings and beaded purses adorned with Japanese koi motifs and flowing silk fringe.
