Sport, stretch and polished sexinessl were the watchwords for Tory Burch’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection held at Pier 76.
Drawing on her memories of New York in the ’90s, Burch wanted to look at her “signatures with a new perspective, reflecting what feels modern now”, according to the show notes. The fashion designer has slowly moved away from her understated style to more elegant and sophisticated pieces in recent seasons. “I want things that are beautiful in their own right but not so over-the-top as to be difficult”, she said.
