Richard Malone showed his Spring/Summer 2022 collection, as well as his limited edition capsule collection with Mulberry, at the Victoria and Albert Museum’s majestic Raphael Cartoons room.

The collection explored the tension between “good” and “bad” taste, while focusing on subjectivity of art.
Jackets with exaggerated silhouettes and deconstructed cuts; trousers decorated with horse rosettes, and tailored coats and jackets made with Mulberry deadstock leather; ruched and cutout dresses and tops were among key pieces of the collection.
As for the Richard Malone x Mulberry limited edition capsule collection which is part of Mulberry Editions, that was launched during the brand’s 50th anniversary year, the designer reinterpreted Mulberry’s heritage, and reimagined the brand’s Bayswater and Darley bags.
