While many of his contemporaries have fallen away, Lim’s enduring success speaks to his keen understanding of the ever-shifting fashion landscape and his ability to adapt while remaining true to his brand’s DNA.
Backstage, the word “joyful” permeated the air, and this sense of optimistic resilience resonated throughout the collection. Lim, known for his ability to seamlessly weave evolving trends into his own design vocabulary, surprised some by admitting his unfamiliarity with the recent surge of “Brat Green.” He explained that it was simply a color he wore in his youth in California, a testament to his innate sense of style that transcends fleeting trends.

Familiar motifs like rosettes, first seen in his debut runway show in Spring/Summer 2007, resurfaced alongside updated takes on lace tops and crystal fringe.
