Karry Wang, acclaimed Chinese actor and singer, has embarked on a new journey as Furla brand ambassador. This is the first time the Italian accessories giant has chosen a male ambassador for its women’s handbag collection.
The strategic alliance kicks off with Wang’s appearance in the campaign for Furla’s Lunar New Year 2024 capsule collection, “Out of Blue, Win in Orchid“. The campaign‘s visuals are striking, featuring Wang in a sleek, fitted white suit, gracefully seated among the latest iteration of Furla’s iconic Candy bags. Decorated in shades that reflect the enchanting colors of Chinese orchids, these bags symbolize a harmonious blend of tradition and modern flair.
Furla’s CEO, Giorgio Presca, emphasized Furla’s inclusive nature and the important role the younger generation plays in the brand’s continued success. “I strongly believe that the talented Karry Wang will bring freshness with his unique personal spirit among the Chinese consumers.…His attitude will match perfectly the Furla’s brand concept of excellent quality, extraordinary creativity and classic inheritance,” said Presca.
