Rocco Iannone’s latest offering for Ferrari’s Fall/Winter 2025 line transforms the brand’s automotive DNA into a wardrobe built for speed, precision and unapologetic glamour. Presented at Milan‘s Teatro Alcione, the collection draws on Ferrari‘s racing heritage while sharpening its identity as a disruptive force in luxury fashion.
Iannone’s designs rely on tactile experimentation. Leather jackets and trousers are oiled, sponged and hand-dyed to mimic the organic imperfections of racetrack gravel. Mélange pinstripes and 3-D woven yarns add depth to tailored suits, while iridescent nylon gabardine outerwear reflects the metallic sheen of Ferrari’s Formula One chassis. Silk velvets cut into feathery jacquard patterns evoke the aerodynamic curves of sports cars, and denim is treated to create trompe l’oeil effects reminiscent of carbon fiber. The silhouette remains elongated and austere – shearling coats with frosted finishes and belted camel trench coats evoke the disciplined engineering behind Ferrari’s cars.

Red – specifically Rosso Corsa, the color of Ferrari’s 2025 F1 livery – dominates accessories and fringe details. Leather skirts and bombers feature cascading crimson tassels, a kinetic nod to the Prancing Horse’s mane. Gloves, a recurring motif, are rendered in shiny nappa leather, emphasizing the tactile relationship between driver and machine. Eveningwear takes a theatrical turn: metallic satin dresses with diagonal ruffles and flocked chiffon jumpsuits channel the audacity of 1980s pop icons, though Iannone insists these pieces remain “grounded in Ferrari’s language of competition.”
The commercial strategy is in line with the creative vision. Half of the line’s customers are Ferrari car owners; the rest aspire to the brand’s ecosystem. Flagship stores in New York and London debut alongside trunk shows at Grand Prix events in Monaco and Austin, where checkered-flag outerwear and David Bowie-esque leather suits cater to the wealthy. Iannone’s focus on Ferrari’s core community marks a departure from earlier collections, which struggled to resonate. “Beautiful clothes aren’t enough,” he notes. “They need meaning only Ferrari can provide.”
The Ferrari Fall/Winter 2025 collection solidifies the label’s niche: opulent, divisive, and unencumbered by traditional luxury conventions. Like the cars, the clothes aren’t for everyone, and that’s the point.
