Coperni presented its Spring/Summer 2025 collection at Disneyland Paris, marking a historic first for the iconic theme park. The show, set against the backdrop of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle, transformed the Magic Kingdom into a sartorial wonderland that captivated fashion enthusiasts.
Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant, Coperni’s visionary duo, orchestrated a spectacle that seamlessly blended cutting-edge design with the timeless magic of Disney. The collection, Coperni’s most extensive to date, unfolded in three distinct chapters, each telling a unique story of style evolution.
The opening act showcased a youthful exuberance, with white floral jacquard jackets paired with bloomers to evoke a sense of innocence and wonder. Delicate organza butterflies adorned scuba-inspired pieces, symbolizing the transition from childhood to adolescence.
As the show progressed, the narrative shifted to a more rebellious tone. Vintage Disney merchandise was mixed with contemporary designs, creating a striking juxtaposition of nostalgia and modernity. Standout pieces included a “Coperni Princess” t-shirt and denim embellished with salt crystals, pushing the boundaries of textile innovation.
The finale brought a dramatic crescendo, with thunder and lightning effects setting the stage for a parade of reimagined Disney characters. Maleficent-inspired bustiers and hoodies shared the runway with gowns featuring Sleeping Beauty’s iconic tiara silhouette. The designers’ collaboration with Disney, which accounted for approximately ten percent of the collection, resulted in pieces that were both whimsical and wearable.
Coperni’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection showcased not only the brand’s technical prowess, but also its ability to weave storytelling into fashion. From park-inspired casual wear to avant-garde evening gowns, the collection offered something for every fashion-forward Disney enthusiast.
