Willy Chavarria is officially back with another high-profile collaboration. For the Fall 2026 season, the New York-based designer and adidas Originals are extending their partnership with the release of the Chavarria Megaride AG. This latest drop marks Chavarria’s fourth collection with the brand and will debut on the Paris runway before hitting the global market this week.

| 🚀 Collaboration: Willy Chavarria x adidas Originals 👟 Model: Chavarria Megaride AG 🎨 Colorways: Black / Cream 🧵 Materials: Metal mesh, TPU overlays, suede accents ⚙️ Technology: adidas Megaride cushioning 🗼 Debut: Paris Fashion Week FW26 🌍 Release date: January 30, 2026 🛒 Availability: adidas CONFIRMED, adidas.com, select retailers |

The new model builds on the existing Megaride franchise but takes a distinct turn toward intergalactic themes. Chavarria opted for a construction that prioritizes premium materials and sculptural architecture. The collection features two colorways: Black and Cream. Both pairs utilize the technical foundation of the Megaride cushioning system, adding aesthetic details that reflect Chavarria’s design language.
The black colorway stands out with its silver metal mesh upper paired with translucent TPU overlays. It features reflective accents and suede accents on the toe and heel. The translucent Putty Grey outsole has visible red foam accents. Branding is kept minimal with “Chavarria” printed in a reflective finish on the tongue.

In contrast, the cream version offers a softer look. It features a cream mesh base, the same TPU overlays, and suede accents. The outsole features hints of red, and the “Chavarria” branding on the tongue is printed in matte rather than reflective material. Both sneakers include a double logo on the sock liner to signify the partnership.
During the Willy Chavarria Fall/Winter 2026 Paris show, other variations, such as the Megaride Copa and Megaride Bones, were on display. These were also Willy Chavarria’s first footwear line. Chavarria also gave spectators a preview of an upcoming take on the Predator soccer cleat. The runway show featured professional athletes, including soccer players Marcelo Vieira and Rodrigo Huescas, highlighting the connection between sportswear and high fashion.

Chavarria explained that his work is deeply influenced by his surroundings in New York City. He views his designs as a way to connect with the people he sees every day from his apartment windows.
“I live in New York City, street level, corner apartment, big windows. There’s barely any separation between the city outside and the world inside my home. I think there. I watch people. I watch them rush to work while I make my coffee. I watch them meet on corners. Enter the restaurant across the street. Kiss goodbye. Argue. Jump in and out of taxis” said Chavarria regarding his creative process.

He continued by describing the shared human experience in the city: “I watch people fall in love. I watch them fall apart. All of us under the same sun, under the same moon, sharing the same universe, breathing the same oxygen, smelling the same garbage. I feel connected to all of them. I’ve seen a woman collapse in the middle of a crosswalk. A heart attack. Strangers ran in. I ran in. We waited together for the ambulance.“
The collection includes World Cup merchandise accredited by the Mexican Football Federation and inspired by vintage football kits. This apparel line accompanies the footwear and ranges from entry-level hoodies to more complex tailoring.

The Chavarria Megaride AG will be available globally on January 30th, 2026. Interested buyers can purchase the sneakers starting at 10 a.m. EST on the adidas Confirmed app, the official adidas website, and at select global retailers.
