Calvin Klein, the iconic American fashion brand, has teamed up with rising star Nensi Dojaka in a collaboration that promises to redefine women’s intimates and apparel. The partnership, which debuted at London Fashion Week, seamlessly blends Calvin Klein’s innovative design ethos with Dojaka’s intricate imagery to celebrate female sensuality in a bold new way.
The Nensi Dojaka for Calvin Klein collection focuses on highlighting specific areas of the body, such as the collarbone, hips and back. Fine harness straps and sheer layers accentuate rather than conceal, while sculptural metal hardware, inspired by the Calvin Klein archives, serves as a striking accent throughout the pieces.
At the heart of this collaboration is a commitment to purpose and wearability. Multi-layered petal cups offer invisible support, while featherweight knits provide subtle sculpting. The collection’s technical engineering ensures support across all designs, empowering women through thoughtful construction.
Beyond intimates, the collection extends into apparel with sheer knits, languid slip dresses and softly oversized tailoring. These pieces strike a balance between delicate design and modern sophistication, reimagining a 90s-inspired aesthetic for today’s fashion-forward woman.
Renowned photographer Harley Weir captured the essence of the collection in a campaign featuring actress Rebecca Ferguson and models Jill Kortleve and Mona Tougaard. Set against a London backdrop, the images exude a powerful femininity that embodies the core ethos of the collection.
Nensi Dojaka, the Albanian-born, London-based designer, shared her perspective on the collaboration: “The collection is an exploration of femininity. But I’ve never wanted to approach femininity the ‘normal’ way. I want to re-paint the image of women, showing both sides: the vulnerability, but also the strength that characterizes them. For me, femininity is about embracing the contrast that lives within us.”
Eva Serrano, Global Brand President of Calvin Klein, expressed her excitement about the partnership: “Nensi is truly doing something special in womenswear. Her vision and talent are next level, and when I think about the creative partners that have impacted Calvin Klein, Nensi is a part of that history. It is powerful and rewarding to see this design partnership that so organically leveraged the strengths of both brands out in the world.”
