The American talent Caleb McLaughlin, best known for his role in “Stranger Things“, has been appointed as the newest US ambassador for Dior Beauty’s prestigious ‘’La Collection Privée’’ fragrance collection. With this move, Dior Beauty continues to embrace the influence and talent of Gen Z stars to further promote and celebrate the brand’s iconic heritage.
Caleb McLaughlin’s announcement as the US ambassador follows Dior Beauty’s recent partnership with Alexandra Daddario, who supports not only the ‘’La Collection Privée’’ fragrance collection but also Dior’s women’s fashion business. This strategic move signifies Dior Beauty’s dedication to working with high-profile celebrities to maintain its global image and reach new audiences.
In a statement, Dior Beauty emphasized McLaughlin’s diverse talents, including his budding music career with two original singles, and his philanthropic work. The young actor founded the Toa Foundation Inc., a nonprofit organization focusing on personal and mental development through performing arts and financial literacy. Moreover, McLaughlin actively participates in the Jr. NBA Leadership Council, a program that aims to enhance the youth basketball experience for young players across the United States.
The ‘’La Collection Privée’’ fragrance collection has recently added six new ambassadors to its roster, including Jenna Ortega, Thuso Mbedu, Fai Khadra, Liu Yuxin, Orelsan and McLaughlin’s fellow “Stranger Things” actors Maya Hawke and Joseph Quinn. Additionally, South Korean pop star Haerin from the group NewJeans was named a global ambassador across jewelry, fashion and beauty just last week.
Caleb McLaughlin‘s impressive acting career continues to flourish, with upcoming roles in Peacock’s film “Shooting Stars“, which chronicles Lebron James’ high school basketball journey, as well as Lee Daniels’ “Deliverance” and Jeymes Samuel’s “The Book of Clarence“.
