The highly anticipated collaboration between Bad Bunny and adidas Originals on the “Cabo Rojo” is now set for a global release. This particular model extends the adidas Gazelle “City Series,” a collection that pays tribute to Puerto Rican landscapes and culture. You can finally get your hands on this pair, following previous launches that were exclusive to the island.

The sneaker is part of a larger project that honors the artist’s deep connection to his home. The Gazelle “City Series” uses three distinct colorways to represent meaningful locations across the island. Each shoe’s design is a direct expression of place, crafted with a strong sense of pride and local identity.
Two other models preceded this launch. The “El Yunque” colorway features deep green tones that reflect the lush environment of the only tropical rainforest in the U.S. National Forest System. Meanwhile, the “Santurce” version uses vivid orange tones as a nod to the area’s reputation as a center for contemporary art and performance. These two sneakers will remain available only in Puerto Rico, maintaining their status as a tribute to the island.

The “Cabo Rojo” edition stands out with its vibrant pink hue. Its design is inspired by the region’s famous salt flats, which produce a rare natural phenomenon of pink-colored water due to specific microorganisms. In support of the launch, the campaign features Puerto Rican elders presented as guardians of the island’s heritage.

The adidas Gazelle “Cabo Rojo” has been available globally since July 26 at 10 a.m. EST.
