Renowned Chinese pianist Lang Lang has struck a harmonious chord with Dior, becoming the French fashion house’s newest global ambassador. Having previously served as Dior’s Men‘s ambassador in China since January 2023, Lang Lang’s role has now been expanded to represent the brand on a global scale.
This exciting development strengthens the already established relationship between Lang Lang and the LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton conglomerate, which owns Dior among several other luxury brands. The collaboration underscores Dior’s longstanding appreciation for the artistic and musical realms, as expressed in a statement from the brand: “This virtuoso pianist, who is constantly searching for new sonic horizons, is furthering his affinities with the House, inviting us to celebrate more than ever the special ties that have always united Dior with the magic of art and music.”

Lang Lang’s association with the LVMH Group goes beyond his new role with Dior. He has been a brand ambassador for watchmaker Hublot since 2015, performed at the Louis Vuitton show celebrating Pharrell Williams‘ debut as Creative director, and Moët & Chandon, another LVMH brand, provided the bubbly for Lang Lang’s wedding at the Palace of Versailles. Last December, he also gave a sold-out recital at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris.
Beyond his musical prowess, Lang Lang is known for his philanthropic efforts through the Lang Lang International Music Foundation, which promotes the development of young musical talent. This dedication to nurturing the next generation aligns perfectly with Dior’s commitment to supporting artistic endeavors.
Lang Lang joins an impressive list of Dior’s global ambassadors, including artists, athletes, businessmen and cultural icons such as Taiwanese singer Jay Chou, British actor Robert Pattinson, Jimin of BTS, soccer player Kylian Mbappé, K-pop group TXT and the grandson of Grace Kelly, Monaco businessman Pierre Casiraghi.
