Iconic supermodel Kate Moss and her daughter Lila Moss join forces to grace the Fendi 2024 Peekaboo campaign. Photographed by Craig McDean and styled by Melanie Ward, this striking collaboration marks a significant moment as the mother-daughter duo step into the spotlight together for the Fendi brand.
The Fendi Peekaboo bag, which first caught our eye at the Fendi Womenswear Spring/Summer 2009 show. Designed by Venturini Fendi, the trapezoid-shaped accessory with a charming name reminiscent of childhood games, “peek-a-boo, I see you,” is a marvel with its double-turnlock frame and gusseted pocket construction. This design not only makes a statement, but also captures the essence of movement through its weighted keyhole hardware.

Silvia Venturini Fendi, Artistic director of accessories and menswear, wanted to create a bag that would transcend trends and stand out in a sea of runway accessories. Her goal was to introduce an item with the elegance of a vintage bag adorned with a clasp, while remaining unmistakably Fendi. Over the years, the Peekaboo has been reimagined with new materials, sizes, and embellishments, including shoulder straps, wooden or lucite handles, and the signature Selleria stitching.
The 2024 Peekaboo campaign featuring Kate and Lila Moss is more than a showcase of fashion – it’s a celebration of heritage and family. Venturini Fendi herself has been photographed in previous campaigns with her daughters, Delfina Delettrez Fendi and Leonetta Luciano Fendi, highlighting the Peekaboo as a piece to be cherished and passed down through generations. This message resonates with the Fendi ethos and is beautifully represented by the Moss matriarchy.
Friends of the house, Kate and Lila Moss first appeared together on the Fendi runway in February 2021, when Kim Jones presented his first haute couture collection for the brand as Artistic director.
