PUMA is bringing back one of its most beloved designs with a Caribbean twist. The German sportswear giant announced the return of the PUMA H-Street model with two Jamaica-inspired colorways, perfectly timed for the Notting Hill Carnival in London.

This revival pays tribute to Jamaica’s legendary track and field dominance and celebrates the nation’s cultural impact on global sports. PUMA originally launched this partnership in 2003 with a campaign that highlighted Jamaican athletic excellence and cultural heritage.
The updated H-Street maintains the original’s minimalist approach with several features that made it popular. The breathable mesh upper provides comfort during extended wear, and the distinctive T-shaped toe box gives the shoe its recognizable profile.

The track-inspired outsole tread connects directly to the shoe’s athletic DNA. The design draws from PUMA’s late-1990s Harambee silhouette, originally built as a high-performance racing spike.
Black, yellow, and green colorways dominate the new release. These colors reference Jamaica’s national flag, honoring the speed and power Caribbean athletes have brought to global competition.
PUMA chose the release date strategically: August 25, 2025, coincides with the Notting Hill Carnival, the largest street festival in Europe and a major celebration of Caribbean culture.

Starting August 22, the brand will host community-focused activations. These events will feature collaborations with local artists and grassroots creatives, extending beyond footwear into music and cultural celebration.
The Carnival provides the perfect backdrop for launching shoes that honor Caribbean athletic achievement. The festival attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors each year, generating significant visibility for the H-Street launch.

Jamaica’s track and field legacy speaks for itself. The island nation consistently produces world-class sprinters who dominate international competitions. PUMA’s partnership with Jamaican athletics dates back over two decades, so this release feels authentic rather than opportunistic.
The H-Street silhouette originally emerged from genuine performance needs. Racing spikes require a lightweight design and optimal ground contact — features that translate well to lifestyle wear.

The PUMA H-Street Pack will be available on August 25, 2025, through multiple channels. Both colorways will be available on PUMA.com, in flagship stores, and at select stockists worldwide.
