The venue chosen for the show is always an opportunity for designers to get their messages across, and for Massimo Giorgetti, MSGM‘s creative director, the outdoor space of the Italian telecommunications company Fastweb’s headquarters, an Italian technology and digital company committed to sustainable development practices, surrounded by green space and a water basin, was perfect to represent his hopeful vision of future possibilities.
“A place suspended between water and concrete, an apparent duality that should somehow be reconciled“, he said.
Channeling a youthful and positive aesthetic, Giorgetti steered the collection toward an easy-to-wear approach, filled with relaxed cuts, loose-fitting pants, shirts and shorts in prints of hibiscus, bananas, numerous sea creatures and tropical plants and exotic animals in black and white or striped or multicolored knits.
Accessories were not left out, breathing carefree, with eye-catching shell necklaces and durable sneakers.
