Echoing his amazing Loewe Spring/Summer 2022 women’s outing last September, Jonathan Anderson questioned our relationship to perfection with his new seasonal offer, featuring pieces and accessories, sometimes experimental, full of humor, fantasy, irony, but also sweetness.

In the setting composed of white sand and colored ribbons designed by contemporary artists Joe McShea & Edgar Mosa, there were trompe-l’oeil t-shirts with a muscular physique, or with the mirror representation of the portrait of the model wearing it. There were also wacky pieces, with hoops built right into tees and trousers, creating voluminous loops that enshroud the body, or bodysuits and clinging tops embedded with fairy lights.
There were also many surreal touches that translated into the fingers of a sweater extended with streamers, a real huge button sewn into another sweater at the place of the navel or LED lights inserted in rubber boots.
Fashion is definitely not boring or banal with Jonathan Anderson!
