This season, the young French label EGONlab takes us back in time, to the medieval era, with its legends and myths told through their collection entitled “EgonLab Dynasty”.

Inspired by the figure of Lady Godiva, a young Englishwoman who, in the 11th century, a sort of “Femen” before the hour, who would one day have crossed the streets of Coventry (currently located in the West Midlands region, at near Birmingham) on horseback, completely naked, to convince her husband to lower taxes – a kind of early Femen, the two designer of the brand Florentin Glémarec and Kévin Nompeix have found in the iconography of the Middle Ages an infinite library of shapes, colors and characters.
Their silhouettes were peppered with chivalric references. Medieval creatures and imagery were embroidered or printed on many pieces, alongside lyrics of songs by Mylène Farmer or EGONlab logo transcribed in Gothic font.
Note that EGONlab unveiled on this occasion its third collaboration with Sergio Tacchini – a capsule of sportswear made from recycled fabrics and materials.
