As a perfect modern gentleman, the Canali man opted for a wardrobe with sober and exclusive lines, characteristic of the time, while borrowing silhouettes and colors from military inspirations.
Thus, the suits, a timeless icon of the male wardrobe, the shirts and the sweaters alternate geometric shell-like pattern reminiscent of the designs of that period and the fine stripes typical of the 1930s, while the wide lapels with buttonholes in hand-embroidered silks and knitted cuffs overturned the traditional notion of tailoring.
The knit, warm and enveloping, was combined with the emblematic outerwear that characterizes this season: parkas, pea coats and long coats, all cut in noble materials, such as cashmere, alpaca, wool-cashmere or velvet.
