What if we started dressing in suits again, after two years in tracksuits and other comfortable pieces, locked down at home? Brunello Cucinelli has bet this season on the return to grace of suits, while betting on comfort.
The two-piece tailored suits were indeed well represented in the brand’s seasonal collection, bringing business elegance, ease and comfort at the same time. Separate pieces like blazers and pants in different colors and textures added versatility to the suits, while black leather biker jackets, denim shirts, lightly quilted sleeveless vests or shorts with cargo pockets contrasted with the rest for their casual feel.
Aiming to appeal to a new, younger clientele, Brunello Cucinelli has introduced many striking colors this season, such as soft red, called ginger, sage green, salmon, sunflower yellow and periwinkle blue, balanced by neutral shades such as gray, light beige, off-white or black, which makes its extremely rare appearance here in the forty-four year history of the fashion house.
