For Fall/Winter 2023, Berluti unveiled its concept for a timeless wardrobe for the modern man. The collection, which will be released in four installments in stores between July and December, boasts cashmere sweaters, leather down jackets and vests in rich tones reminiscent of the brand’s signature patina shoes. The label’s versions of classic styles like biker jackets and shearling bombers are renowned for their impeccable craftsmanship.
In the past, Berluti has catered to high-profile figures such as Andy Warhol, Frank Sinatra, Yves Saint Laurent, and Marcel Proust. However, the latest collection reflects a shift towards more relaxed and casual styles, like an oatmeal stretch cashmere that exudes the comfort of a tracksuit. The modern business traveler can pair it with a bag or suitcase made of Berluti’s new Toile Marbeuf canvas, adorned with a fresh interpretation of the Scritto, the brand’s signature 18th-century manuscript motif.
While Berluti is primarily known for its classic shoes, the brand also offers a selection of sneakers. The new collection includes lightweight technical nylon knit and cashmere versions, as well as a retro-inspired model named Trainer. This streamlined offering from Berluti presents a blueprint for dressing up while keeping it casual, without the fuss of intricate styling.
